The Australian Wealth Management Awards acknowledge excellence across the dynamic wealth management industry.
Finalists were determined via a process of comparative assessment against key criteria, including performance, brand recognition, editorial engagement across Momentum Media wealth management media assets, adviser sentiment and surveys over the previous 12 months. This was blended with publicly-available insights and data from a number of research providers and platforms – including the Money Management Investment Centre.
The assessment of finalists considered, but was not limited to, key financial indicators, performance, product accessibility and availability, market trends and technological features/ capabilities to identify those organisations, products or individuals that have demonstrated superior performance.
Innovation and adaptability was central to the assessment and consideration. This included the introduction of new services, technology adoption or strategies that demonstrated a forward-looking approach to wealth management and supporting investors and advisers.
Businesses that made a significant contribution to the industry and exemplified best practice were given special consideration. This included initiatives aimed at promoting financial literacy, investor outcomes, adherence to ethical standards, and overall positive contributions to the wealth management sector.
Finalists were invited to support their participation in the awards with a five minute video submission, covering key performance indicators connected with their market specialisation. They were also offered the opportunity to provide supporting information plus adviser testimonials.
A panel of industry stakeholders, including leading advisers from the ifa Excellence Awards and interconnected professionals – including the Momentum Media wealth management editorial leadership team – assessed all information to determine the winners for each category.
For adviser-focused categories, winners were determined by a panel of industry representatives and corporate judges, plus the Momentum Media wealth management editorial leadership team.
